Indy 500 on Tiger Game.Com. Gameplay & Commentary

—————-
Gameplay & commentary from Indy 500 playing on the Tiger Game.Com retro handheld games console. Retro Gaming.
This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It’s simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
It’s also here so that I can embed it, along with most of the games in my collection, on my website (see link above).
Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

Steve Benway, hope all is well in your neck of the suburbs/woods; do you plan on reviewing/trying out other Tiger Electronics LLC Game.com titles like Duke Nukem 3D or RE 2 !? Cheers mate; I will pray for you and your relatives during this hectic time in history ! By the way, the Tiger Electronics LLC Game. com was obviously rushed to stores/market… the display screen had awful draw distance and the frame rate took more jabs to the kidney region then your amatuer boxer just starting out on his or her journey to fame ! Also, the device ended up with 20-40 unreleased titles and or a rumored Colour version scrapped before it even hit magazine pages (a real shame really, because I owned and still own a few of the original Tiger Electronics LLC handheld all in one games). 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😕😱🤗🙄🙏💪
Well, the only way we can enjoy this game is on the SEGA Model 2 Emulator.
This is literally a "port" of Sega AM1's 'Indy 500' arcade game from 1995. Seriously should've been ported to the Saturn. What a waste of the Indy 500 license!
@SteveBenway
lol you are right i didn`t knew about that one. Still even licensing those Games had cost them probably alot and yeah those companys were probably thinking more about the Money when they gave their franchised Games to Tiger. One should think that those companys wouldn`t give their Franchise to an ill fated system.
@SteveBenway
yeah the only reason to emulate is to know how they look on emulation. I remember GB Games with the horrible Display back then but when you emulate then they look way better. But Graphics can`t bring fun Gameplay. As far as i read Mess has an emu but it seems to be a work in progress. The funny part is that the system had alot of Interesting Titles such as Resident Evil, Duke Nukem, Mortal Kombat & co. How the hell did they get them to make games for the System.
Ever tried this game on an emu? now i wonder how it looks like even though still no competition to other consoles but i am curios
This video makes me feel even better about selling off my Game.com and games lol. Rolling Staaaaaaaaaaart! 🙂
"I can sum it up in one word… awful."
HA!
Man, maybe it's the accent, but the word "awful" has so much more impact when it's said by someone from the UK.
